300 word summary of whole course

The arch1142 course has allowed for the development of my skills in many ways from the development of my understanding in the processes of drawing a perspective, to the technique of combining my skills from a combination of workshops in order to process a motion film which explores the nature of architecture.
By having the ability to adjust into a workshop and then become disrupted and have to become focused again into another workshop has allowed myself to engage with the understanding of being able to produce high quality work within a very minimal time period.
I believe that architecture communications (arch1142) is a course that proves quite evidently how other fields of practice are able to communicate with the field of architecture and it demonstrates how there is a very strong need for us as architects to be able to develop a language that is coherent and fluid across these practices.
Through my undertaking of Architectural Drawing, Fluid Thoughts and Architecture in Motion I believe that my skills have been tested and that each workshop has approached me as a blank canvas in which to fill - and have succeeded in filling myself with knowledge, an understanding and many skills which will overlap and further develop in my studies and also into my career as an architect.

Subkect choice 3 - Architecture in motion - My Film

Through construction and deconstruction the sensations of disorientation and fluidity of the environment are experienced. The repetitive elements of the surroundings cause the architectural elements to take on new forms, a hall of liquid mirrors which set about engulfing the space. As the engulfing sensation of the space takes over a path arrives into view, leaving only the blinding outside light a mystery to the within. An understanding between the mind and the architecture is achieved when the roof of the hall of liquid mirrors is seen erupting with the fluidity from within, exploding with the illuminating essence of the continuation of the light.
